My Safe Florida Home Program – Wind Certification Entity
 | | In 2007, AmeriPro became one of only 11 companies to be approved as a Wind Certification Entity in the State of Florida through the Department of Financial Services.
Our success with this project was our ability to take the program requirements and turn them into processes, systems and procedures – streamlining and automating the inspections to better serve the homeowners and the state. With our systems, we were able to track quality assurance requirements, human resource management, inspection data collection and more.
| We were the first in the industry to deploy an automated system to manage a large team of inspectors, giving us the ability to maintain a high level of performance. Our report validations assured and qualified data input and our performance reporting highlighted or red-flagged inspectors not going the extra mile. For this and other reasons, our best practices garnered a second contract with the program in 2008. |
| We are very proud of our accomplishments in the insurance inspection industry and the My Safe Florida Home program and work hard every day to increase homeowner awareness about this inspection and program, as well as to improve and enhance the quality of service we provide. |

The Home Guide Reporting Manual and System
 | |
The Home Guide is a three-ring binder and inspection report system packed with information relevant to every home inspection. The Home Guide Inspection Report and Manual was designed for homeowners to help them better understand the inspection report and service, in addition to better preparing them for home-ownership. A $50 value, it is provided to every client that uses AmeriPro for a home inspection and has even been purchased and used by hundreds of inspection companies nationwide. It provides both homeowners and even inspectors with a tremendous amount of information relating to defects, maintenance tips and more.
| The Home Guide Report System was developed in 1998 by Michael Rowan, President of AmeriPro Inspection Corporation and Inspection Depot, Inc. After surveying the market, Michael discovered that an efficient, user-friendly reporting system was either non-existent or very expensive to the end user. He also concluded that other systems, which perhaps enjoyed client appeal because they were easy to comprehend, lacked a professional appearance and ease of use for the inspector. Michael felt it was important for an inspection company's final report to the client demonstrate both thoroughness and uncompromised professionalism. |
 | |
The Home Guide system today covers more than 500 specific items broken into 8 primary categories, all of which are assembled in an easy to find format within the Home Guide Binder. The primary categories are as follows: Structure, Exterior, Roof, Plumbing, Electrical, Heating & Cooling, Appliances and Interior. AmeriPro provides this manual FREE to every home inspection client!

Home Inspection Training Programs
| AmeriPro along with its partner company, Inspection Depot Inc. has developed many inspection training programs for the inspection industry over the last 14 years. Here is an overview of some of our programs. |
 | |
Infrared Diagnostic Evaluations and Building Science
This program was first introduced to the inspection industry in 2003 and was very well accepted. Infrared cameras at the time were just starting to show their face in the industry and AmeriPro was well aware of their value. AmeriPro also recognized the limitations of their use and the necessity for users to understand an element of building science, camera technique and most of all how this technology applied to the home inspection industry.

Home Inspection Training Program |
Our home inspection training program was first developed in 1999 and approved by the department of education. It was at the time, and still is, available for up to 120 hours of education, which is what is required in the upcoming home inspector licensing legislation coming into effect in 2010. Click here for information on this program.

New Construction Inspection Training |
| AmeriPro along with its partner company, Inspection Depot Inc. has developed many inspection training programs for the inspection industry over the last 14 years. Here is an overview of some of our programs. |
New Construction Inspection Training |
| Ameripro was the first to recognize the difference between a regular inspection and a new construction inspection. Most inspectors still have difficulty recognizing the difference and many clearly point out that they do not perform code inspections. When the 2001 Florida Building Code was introduced, AmeriPro took the time to build the only 40-hour continuing education program for New Construction Inspections for home inspectors to take advantage of. |

While new construction inspections are not code inspections, they must be conducted by inspectors with code knowledge. As a matter of fact, inspectors with code knowledge and performance experience are some of the best suited inspectors for all inspection types.
This training program proved to be an excellent program for our industry. From this program we developed what is still on the market as the only new construction inspection technology backed with code referencing and comments, designed exclusively for new construction inspections.
Commercial Building Inspection |
As our founder spend his first seven years in the commercial inspection arena, this program was easy for us to develop. Our analysis of the inspection industry indicates that currently, only 20% of the inspector population is properly qualified to conduct commercial building inspections.
Our program trains inspectors not only on the ASTM standards for property condition assessments, but also on the technical requirements and in determining the needs of clients from an instructions, inspection and reporting basis.
Defect Diagnostic Evaluation |
This program was developed to help inspectors understand the systematic approach to defect diagnostic evaluations both for the purposes of real estate inspections and expert witness testimony.
The program covers every system and component of a home, including building structures, roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, moisture and microbial issues, and more. This course enables the inspector to better understand the history, the causes and effects, crucial components when determining building condition.
Various Continuing Education Courses and Seminars |
Our founder has presented at many home inspection and real estate conferences around the country and has spent countless hours preparing custom seminars and training programs for both inspectors and agents.
We were one of the first companies to train home inspectors in August of 2005 on diversification, before the market knew what diversification actually was. AmeriPro had not only seen the market change but experienced it first hand in the first quarter of 2005. At the time, many inspectors were still not tuned into the future, but some of those that attended still call our office thanking us for our forewarning them of what was to come.
Below is a list of some other excellent programs we have developed and conducted over the years. |
1. Basic entry level home inspection training – 66 hours
2. Advanced home inspection training – 120 hours
3. Commercial inspection training – 30 hours
4. New construction building inspection training – 20 to 60 hours
5. An introduction to building science and infrared diagnostics – 10 hours
6. Defect recognition and report writing practice – 20 hours
7. An Introduction to Mold Assessment and Testing – 20 hours
8. Wind Mitigation Essentials for Home Inspectors – 20 hours
9. Knowing 4-Point Insurance Risks – 8 hours

Technology Accomplishments
AmeriPro and its partner company, Inspection Depot, Inc., under the direction of its founder and great staff, have applied their knowledge of the industry for the development and deployment of some of the best systems available today not just for inspectors but also the clients they work with.
Here is an over view of the some of these applications.
www.paperlessinspectors.com
| This application was developed to standardize and oversee our inspectors working for us in the unregulated insurance inspection industry. As a result of the development of this system, we have proven to reduce the extent of fraudulent or erroneous reporting that has been experienced by almost every insurance carrier.
 | |
The first of its kind, PaperlessInspectors.com is a Third Party Quality Assurance application for the insurance industry. Any inspection company can join the program and use our reports as long as they meet minimum standards, such as experience requirements, background testing, drug testing, training, etc. All inspection companies must also agree to a third party review their inspection report before it is released to the industry as well.
| The Quality Assurance components of this application are astonishing. Our built-in data input validations reduce the extent of data entry errors, and reports are not released until audited and approved by our quality assurance department.
| This application stores all reports online and they are available to everyone involved the transaction. Whether you are a homeowner, insurance agent, Realtor or insurance carrier; with our client’s permission we can communicate the information to all concerned in a split second. Simply log in and retrieve your report anytime for up to five years.
| Of course, we are currently taking the successes of this inspection application to the real estate inspection industry and are looking forward to helping homeowners and concerned real estate agents minimize their liability by providing the same degree of oversight needed to protect everyone involved.

Certified Pre-Owned Listing™ Program
 | |
Though it may seem early to you, in the second quarter of 2005, we at AmeriPro experienced firsthand the change in the economic climate. We felt the seller’s market quickly changing to a buyer’s market and as such set out to develop a system to help sellers market their homes more competitively, preparing for the downturn. We have spent more than 24 months perfecting the technology and so far those agents who have taken our system to their sellers have in fact helped them sell their homes faster!
| We have had agents sell their listings in less than 11 days, one of which sold in 5 days! So far, all listings that have sold through the program have been well below the industry average!
| As a prospective buyer, you can register and download inspection reports for FREE, before you make an offer on a home. Don’t waste money on inspections only to find out that there are too many surprises for you to move forward with the transaction. Please remember there is no perfect home so focus on the major issues on the uploaded inspection report!

Certified Pre Owned Foreclosure™
 | |
This is one of our newest applications and one we are very excited about. In a time where there are so many foreclosures of every type and condition, our application was developed to assist lenders and banks separate their inventory from the rest and attract more buyers that they would otherwise not attract because of the fear of the unknown.
Our research has indicated that most first time buyers are very nervous with foreclosures and in many cases shy away from them, preferring instead to make offers on regular listings and resale homes.
| With our Certified Pre-Owned Foreclosure Program, we pre-vet the home and provide the additional peace of mind to help new homeowners make more informed investment decisions.
| This application was also developed to allow inspectors to invest their time pre-inspecting foreclosed homes, and rather than charging the bank a fee for the inspection, sell these reports to investor and buyers for a fraction of the fee. As an investor or prospective buyer, if you want to view the report on a specific CPOF, simply register, pay a small fee and download the report.

InspectorSpace®
 | |
Over the years, AmeriPro found that many customers were referring AmeriPro to their family and friends, not just in the Florida market but also throughout the United States. In an effort to provide a networking site for home inspectors, our founder started InspectorSpace®, to help prospective customers find qualified inspectors throughout the country.
| Inspectors benefit from many of the networking functions and features. Prospective clients benefit from finding inspectors with transparent profiles, so they can have peace of mind with their inspector decision.
